MyDarzi Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

MyDarzi (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is a local-first mobile application for tailoring businesses to manage customers, measurements, orders, payments, inventory, and production. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is treated.

2. Data controller

MyDarzi is provided as a mobile application for business use. For privacy questions related to the App itself, contact us using the support email published on the MyDarzi Google Play Store listing.

Important: Customer and business records you enter (names, phone numbers, measurements, order details, payments, photos) are your business data. You are responsible for how you collect and use that information under applicable law.

3. Information stored by the App

Depending on how you use MyDarzi, the App may store on your device:

Business profile details (shop name and related settings)
Customer names, phone numbers, notes, and history
Measurement templates and measurement values
Orders, garment details, pricing, due dates, and production status
Payment records and balances
Inventory and staff records you choose to enter
Design / reference images you attach from the camera or gallery
App preferences such as language settings

In the current version, this information is stored locally on your device (for example in the App’s local database and local media storage). The App is designed to work offline.

4. Permissions

Camera — to capture design or reference photos for orders (optional).
Photos / media — to attach existing images as order references (optional).
Internet — may be present for future features or system libraries; core tailor workflows do not require an internet connection in the current local-first version.

You can deny optional permissions; related features will simply be unavailable.

5. How we use information

Information you enter is used only to provide App features on your device, such as:

Managing customers, measurements, and orders
Tracking production and payments
Generating invoices or sharing content you explicitly choose to export/share
Remembering your in-app preferences

We do not sell your personal information. In the current local-first version, we do not operate a MyDarzi cloud backend that receives your customer or order database.

If you use device features to share an invoice, image, or file (for example through another app you choose), that sharing is controlled by you and by those third-party apps’ own policies.

7. Analytics, advertising, and accounts

The current version does not enable remote analytics or advertising SDKs by default. There is no required MyDarzi cloud login for Phase 1 local use.

If a future update adds cloud backup, sync, analytics, ads, or account features, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those features are turned on, and the Play Store listing will reflect material changes where required.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because data is stored on your device, it remains until you delete it in the App, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling MyDarzi removes locally stored App data from that device (subject to your device OS behavior).

Make your own backups if you need to keep records after uninstalling. Losing the device or wiping storage may permanently lose local data.

9. Security

We design the App to keep business data on-device. Please protect your phone with a screen lock and avoid unauthorized access. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Children’s privacy

MyDarzi is intended for business use by adults operating a tailoring business. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

11. International users

You may use the App wherever your device is located. Local storage remains on that device unless you later choose a cloud feature (if offered) or export/share data yourself.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
